Daniel Spillane Mobile WallpaperAge: 25 Daniel Spillane's dream of being a professional musician has meant major change and sacrifice in his life. Quitting the family Real Estate business took a lot of courage but Dan was compelled by his drive and determination to follow his heart and pursue his musical ambitions. Dan complements his role as a lead vocalist in band Funk Brothers International by receiving vocal tuition from one of Australia's legendary singers, Vanetta Fields and it looks like his commitment has paid off, with Australia voting Daniel through as their favourite Wildcard contestant. A self-confessed romantic, Daniel certainly has a soft spot for the ladies and he's already gained a reputation as a smooth talker. Now that he's in Australian Idol's Top 13, he's emerged as one of the finest young singers in the country but his musical ability doesn't end there. Daniel also plays guitar, bass, drums and keyboards - a fact that became obvious when he immediately got familiar with the piano at Idol HQ. The judges have clearly stated that they have complete faith in Dan's vocal talents. The rest, is up to Daniel Spillane. Why is it your dream to become the next Australian Idol?
